Bill Kaiser was born in Bright, Indiana on February 10th, 1935. His family moved to Harrison, Ohio when he was just a few months old, and he resided there until graduating from Harrison High School in 1953. He attended Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, earning a degree in Ceramic Engineering. While in university, Bill married his childhood sweetheart, Emogene on October 28, 1955 at the Christian Church in Harrison.
As an engineer, his first job was with Pittsburgh Plate Glass in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While living in Pittsburgh, Bill earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
After moving to Cincinnati to work with Cincinnati Milling Machine, Bill and Emogene had an experience with the Lord which forever changed their lives: they became born-again believers in Jesus Christ and were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. As a result, Bill resigned his position to become a full-time minister of the Gospel and in 1971 the couple moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Christ for the Nations Institute, where they joined the staff and became worship leaders. Bill eventually held the positions of registrar and instructor.
The Kaisers began traveling extensively in Europe, establishing contacts which would lead them to found the ministry they are most known for: the Time of Refreshing Conference for missionaries, in venues around the world, including Switzerland, Russia, Romania, England, Albania, Holland, Turkey and Singapore.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Emogene and their two sons Barry and wife Patricia and Randy and wife Vicki, four grandchildren, and many they consider "family" around the world. He passed peacefully to his heavenly reward on Sunday, June 23 2024 in Midlothian, Texas.
