Inez Fern Stinson

Inez Fern Stinson, age 81, was born on December 1, 1934 in Cedar Hill, TX to the late Frank and Georgia Sims. She passed away on August 12, 2016 in her home with her family by her side. Fern was the youngest of 4 daughters. She moved to Midlothian in 1967. Fern worked as a seamstress for several years as well as working in the nursery at church, she also kept children in her home for several years. She was known as Mimi to all. She was a member of the Cowboy Church in Waxahachie. Fern enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, eating out and helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jim Beaudoin and 2 sisters, Martha Jo Pressnell and Louise Tunnell. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Love Chapman and husband, Buddy and Pennie Stinson Briscoe and husband, John, grandchildren, Shannon Beaudoin and husband, Jimmy, Shane Chapman and wife, Lori, Brittany and Brandon Morin, Jayna and Jonathan Briscoe, great-grandchildren, Taylor and Conner Chapman, Karleigh and Pippa Beaudoin, Brayleigh Willborn and Bentley and Van Morin and sister, Nina Thompson and husband, Monroe.
