Geraldine Mae "Jerri" Epperson

Geraldine Mae Epperson (Jerri) 69, of Red Oak, TX, passed away on February 4, 2020. Jerri was born in Dallas, TX on August 14, 1950. She was married to David Lee Epperson on September 6, 1968. They were married for 34 years before death parted them in 2003. Jeri worked as a full time mom and grandmother as well as a bus monitor for Red Oak ISD for over 10 years. She enjoyed taking pictures, going on the road with her sons and spending time with her family. She was extremely proud of her sons and her grandchildren. She was active with her church and loved to help others. Jerri is preceded in death by her mother Dorothy L. Smith (Nannie), her husband David L. Epperson and her son Thomas L. Epperson. She is survived by her father, Thomas R. Smith (Papa), son Paul D. Epperson and wife Windy, son John D. Epperson and wife Becky, grandchildren Michael, Destiny, Jasmen, David, Jodie, Kodie and soon to be great grandchild Messiah Jordan, brothers Thomas (Skeeter) Smith and wife Trina, James (Jimmy) Smith and wife Kelly, Carl Smith and wife Carrie, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to J Bar C Cowboy Church Palmer, TX.
