Francisco Javier Borrego

On the evening of June 17, 2016, Harvey Borrego unexpectedly passed away in Dallas, Texas surrounded by family and friends. Harvey was born on August 20th, 1978 in Harlingen, Texas to Jose Guadalupe and Maria Elena Borrego. After growing up in Harlingen, Harvey moved to Austin, and finally settled in Midlothian with his wife Amy of 14 years, son Blake, and stepdaughters, Payton and Lindsey. Though taken too soon from us, friends and family agree Harvey was an amazing man that never failed to bring loads of laughter and energy to whatever life brought his way. Harvey could easily light up a room with his crazy humor and joy for life. Harvey's natural born leadership skills became evident as he worked for many years in the Dallas area managing in the restaurant industry. Harvey loved spending his free time with family and friends cooking, camping, hunting, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. Harvey is survived by his wife, Amy, son, Blake Javier Borrego, stepdaughters, Payton Noel Barnes and Lindsey Grace Barnes, parents, Jose Guadalupe and Elena Borrego, maternal grandfather, Raul Treto, sister, Veronica and her husband Pablo Guevara and their children Lexie and Isaiah, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom he loved dearly.
