With a heart of pure gold and a spirit as bright as the Texas sun, Cora Mae Black graced this world with her presence on November 1, 2022. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Cora Mae quickly grew into a spirited and playful child, capturing the hearts of all she met. Even though she was with us for a brief time, her courage, laughter, and love filled our days with joy. As the saying goes, "A day without laughter is a wasted day," and Cora Mae certainly didn't waste a single moment.
Cora Mae had a unique way of expressing her joy. There was a certain charm to how she would flick her wrists and throw her feet up in the air, leaving everyone around her in fits of laughter. It was her own special dance, one that we will cherish forever. She loved watching Little Baby Bum and chewing on her toys—simple pleasures that brought her endless joy. What mattered most to Cora Mae was having her adoring siblings right by her side at all times. She was the most courageous, strongest baby girl we ever knew, and her giggles were the best sound in the world.
She is survived by her loving parents, Chelsea Wagoner and Jeremy Black, her caring grandparents Cherie Wagoner, Jerry Wagoner, Vicki Black, and Great Grandmother Betty Taliaferro. Cora Mae leaves behind her siblings, Iris Black, Scarlett Black, Bane Black, and Jordyn Black, who will always remember her infectious laughter and spirited play. Cora Mae was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents William Taliaferro, Betty Boner, Homer Seeton, Bill Hughes, and Janelle Hughes.

In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." We invite you to celebrate Cora Mae's life by sharing your favorite memories, photos, and moments of joy with her on the memorial page. She may have been small, but she was mighty, and her loving, funny, and spirited nature will forever be remembered.
