Midlothian, Texas
Chad Neal McDonald, known for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and infectious laughter, has passed away. He was full of life, never met a stranger, and always had a dream on his mind. Chad loved fishing and being outdoors, where he found peace and happiness. Now, he is in his happy place, fishing with his beloved PawPaw and watching over his loving mom, Pat McDonald.
Chad is survived by his loving mother, Pat McDonald and Nick Nicholson; his grandmother, Ruth Wooley; and a large circle of aunts, uncles, family, friends, and animals who brought joy to his life. He was preceded in death by his father Buck McDonald, grandfather Paul Wooley, uncles Joe "Bubba" Wooley and Mike Davis, all whom he cherished deeply.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the ICU doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie for their compassionate care and support.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ellis County SPCA, reflecting Chad's love for animals.
Chad's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be missed by many.
