Red Oak, Texas
Andra Lee Davis, a cherished soul born on June 17, 1959, in the Dallas, Texas area, left us unexpectedly on September 5, 2026, at her home. Her departure leaves a profound void in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Andra was the beloved child of Andrew and Dorothy Hawkins, beloved daughter in-law Milton E. Davis and Lynn Davis, and niece Rebecca Byrd who preceded her in death. Her journey through life was marked by a spirit of warmth and generosity, qualities that endeared her to all who crossed her path. A graduate of Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, Texas, Andra was known for her zest for life and her love for all things beautiful. Her passion for crafting and her affinity for butterflies were reflections of her creative soul and her appreciation for nature's wonders.
Andra's life took a joyous turn when she met and married the love of her life, Edward Clayton Davis, on the beautiful beaches of Galveston, Texas, on June 18, 2013. Their union was a testament to love's enduring power, and together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams.
Andra's family extended beyond her beloved spouse. She was a devoted stepmother to Kayla Davis, Karissa Davis, and Kandace Vien, whose husband, Broderick Vien, she also embraced as her own. Her familial bonds stretched further to include her two cherished sisters-in-law, Sheila Davis and Lori Wood, along with Lori's husband, Steven Wood. Andra's heart was vast, and she cherished her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, loving them all like family.
Andra's warmth and kindness were as boundless as her smile, always ready to light up a room and offer comfort to those in need. Her legacy is one of love, creativity, and an unyielding spirit that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
"For those who wish to honor Andra's memory in sending flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to gofundme.com "Support for Andra's final farewell" by April Alberti. OR Zell Mary Ann Best-Johnson at (972)-946-4013. This will help her husband with her cremation request and bills".
As we bid farewell to Andre Lee Davis, we celebrate a life well-lived, one marked by love, creativity, and an indomitable spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in her remarkable journey.
