Alex Charles Woodard

Alex Charles Woodard, age 45, of Midlothian, Texas, was Born September 8, 1978, in Dallas, Texas and passed away on June 3, 2024, in Dallas, Texas.

Alex graduated from Midlothian High School in 1997 and furthered his education at North Texas Electrical Training Center and held his journeyman license and was extremely prideful of his perfect attendance of 5 years. Alex was employed for 18 years with Morley Moss, IBEW Local 20 Union. He excelled in his career and was dedicated to his work.

In his free time, Alex enjoyed racing in motor-cross and spending quality moments with his family and friends, watching the Cowboys play on Sundays and helping his father on the family farm. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his son Lane fishing.

He is survived by his son, Lane Woodard, mother Betty Woodard, father Tommy Woodard, brother Brad Woodard & wife Robi Woodard, nieces Shebly & Cori Woodard.

Alex was preceded in death by his brother Alan Scott Woodard, grandmothers Frances Woodard & Ruby Oglesby, grandfathers AC Woodard & Earl Oglesby.

Alex will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

A service to honor and celebrate Alex's life will be held at Midlothian Funeral Home on Saturday, June 8, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10am, followed by service at 11am. The family invites you to join them for a graveside ceremony to follow at Mt. Peak Cemetery.
