Rae Yvonne Dunklin Obituary (1937

Rae Yvonne (O'Neal) Dunklin, known to many as Bonnie resided in Midlothian, TX went to be with the Lord on May 14th, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born December 24, 1937 in Mt Pleasant, TX to Stanford and Ida Rae O'Neal. Yvonne was cut from that old East Texas stock that was known for good manners and hard work. In fact, she worked as a bookkeeper until she was 80 years old. Being an East Texan, she knew how to cook like country folk. It was a tradition that she inherited from her mother and passed onto to her daughter-in-law's, grandchildren, and nieces. She loved to fish and she loved to eat fried catfish. Oh, and don't forget that crawfish was one of her favorites. She loved Cloudcroft, NM and it became the family vacation spot and is to this day. Yvonne was a prolific writer and enjoyed writing poetry. She was a cheerleader in high school for the Overton Mustangs, which set the precedent for her being a mother. She was her three boy's greatest cheerleader.
