Marvin Leonard Works Obituary (1927

Marvin L (Pete) Works died in Midlothian, TX at the age of 92. He was born April 7, 1927 in Dallas, TX to Lawerance & Lessie Works. Marvin graduated from Pleasant Grove High School as a football player in 1945 and then went into the Marine Corp in 1945-1946 and again in 1950-1954 and was a active boxer during his time in the service. He joined the local 100 plumbers of steam fitters in 1958 and is still a member. He was the kindest person on Earth, and helped anyone in need of help. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, brother Lawrence, Son Jr, a sister Mary (Nickey) Wheat, his first wife Avender (Jackie) Works of 44 years and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife Kathy Works, daughters Kristy Graf, Tina Soloman, Four grandchildren, Damion Solomon, Lessie & Jesse Lowe and Chelse Graf. Brother in Law Wesley Staggs. Scot Staggs, Delbert Stoggs and wife Lesa. Sister-in Laws Dixie Ingram her husband Myron.Debbie KLnight and husband Larry. Johnny Wheat and wife Diane. Ronny Wheat and wife Evella, James Legene Ezelda and Annie Landry and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly loved and missed by all.
