Eunice Laverne French

Laverne went to be with the Lord February 23, 2018 at the age of 78. Born June 24, 1939 to Elton and Gladys Boroughs in Brownfield, Texas. Laverne has been a longtime resident of Midlothian. She began to serve the Lord at age 13 as a pianist for Creekside Baptist Church. Then served at a church for many years in Monahans, Texas. After moving to Midlothian in 1972, she served as pianist and organist at Calvary Baptist Church for a number of years. Her hobbies included family, quilting, gardening, sewing, raising chickens, playing Skip-Bo and traveling. Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, Bill French; daddy, Elton Boroughs; brother, Wayne Boroughs; sister, Joyce Stice; and daughter in law, Debbie Dunlap. She taught her children the importance of God in their lives and the love for family. Survived by Mother - Gladys Boroughs; Sister - Janie Belford; Brother - Hubert Boroughs; Children - Jack Dunlap, Pam Henley and son-in-law Danny, Janet Dunlap and Michelle Conley and son-in-law Mark; Grand children: Jack Jr and wife Heidi, Burford Dunlap, and Diana Dunlap
